It is with great regret that we have to inform you that the GRN Party due to take place on 2nd August 2008 has been cancelled. Our last party, held in 2005, had over 100 attendees booked and so we anticipated at least the same number of bookings this year. Unfortunately, these bookings have not been forthcoming. Whilst we have booked the venue function rooms (and will therefore be available to use regardless), given the low number of people attending, we believe the event will simply not be as enjoyable with a low number of attendees.

We have really tried to encourage bookings to prevent the cancellation of this event but we have been unsuccessful in securing the number of required bookings. We will, Of course, refund your entire ticket cost. Your ticket cost will automatically be refunded no later than 2nd August. If you have not received your refund by this time, please e-mail party@gamingradio.net with your transaction ID or PayPal e-mail address. We understand that many of you will have already made travel and hotel bookings. Assuming that your hotel booking was made through our recommended hotel, Premier Inn, they have confirmed they will refund your entire hotel fee but you must cancel before 2nd August.

Most train tickets can be cancelled but may incur a £5 admin fee. GRN (UK) Ltd will refund this fee where it has been charged. To claim this refund, please scan your train tickets and e-mail them to party@gamingradio.net no later than 20th July.

This has been a costly decision for us and whilst we understand that you will be disappointed, we hope you can understand our reasons for cancelling the party this year.

What's included?

GRN doesn't make a profit from our parties (in fact, at the party in 2005 we made a loss!).
Every penny from each ticket goes in to the event.

Your £18.50 includes the follows:

• Entry to the event from 7PM with last orders at 1AM, finishing at 01:30AM.
• A party pack sent to you in the post, containing all the information you need to get to the venue, your ticket, a program of events and a Gaming Radio Network silicone wristband.
• A whole night of entertainment featuring your favourite GRN DJs (Inc. DJ Whitey, XMan and MrBlades).
• All the food you need to keep you going throughout the night (To give you an idea, we're spending approximately £1,700 on catering alone this year!). Sample menus will be published shortly but there will be a nice mix of hot and cold food.
• A chance to win EVE-Online gear!

You need to know...

Due to limits on the size of our venue, we are limited to just 200 tickets this year. Consequently, we expect this event to be a sell-out. To avoid disappointment, you need to book fast!
